I would just like to say that the senior sessions I have had this year have been so incredible! Every senior I worked with was open minded and believed in the work I could produce for them.
This past week I photographed beautiful Genevieve.
Genevieve had so many ideas of her own that were fun to incorporate in our session. But she let me make her ideas, my own. To me that is an incredible trait to have in a client!
We started at a field near the cliffs that I hadn't been for photos in years. I forgot how open and sunny the field was in front of the cliffs. (Of course there were shady spots I took photos at) but then I decided to take my time and make use of the direct sun light for once. I ended up doing this a few times through out our time together. Trying new things can be scary, but sometimes you can be surprised/happy with the outcome!
I did find a new location (with the help of my mom) that I hadn't been to before. A pathway with a cornfield on one side, and sunflowers on the other. Genevieve's session would not have been the same if we did not go here, because the sunflower photographs are absolutely STUNNING. The location suited her so well. Its like this spot was made for her. I don't think she could have worn a better dress for this location, either.
We were able to hit up a couple more spots, one being my favorite that I return to all the time. We busted out the glitter here.
The last session ended at the lake, as a lot of my sessions do. (I love the nautical and calm feel the lake can give to my photographs.) Genevieve was even open up to getting in the water!
I absolutely love working with seniors. I always can't wait to ask them what there big plans and dreams are, and finding out more about them. Genevieve had a few plans she shared with me, and not only that she had a very sweet spirit.
I had such an amazing time during this session, and I wish nothing but the best for her!
